Overview
This program provides a comprehensive general education curriculum across all core academic subjects, with a focus on Fine & Performing Arts as an enriching complement to the standard coursework. Arts teachers in Fine & Performing Arts schools work with students and other classroom teachers to provide intensive and integrated instruction in the arts. Students are exposed to various arts opportunities and environments, and have the opportunity to learn and grow in multiple art forms: dance, drama, media arts, music, and/or visual arts.
Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms, children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process.
